Welcome and Hello!
My name is David Ellis. I have 19 years of experience in teaching people to drive in a manual car. After a break in which I returned to full time employment and start a family 2 years ago I re-qualified as a DVSA certified ADI and am now teaching in an automatic car. I am teaching in Darlington and the surrounding villages.
I can help and support you to drive safely either from the start of your driving journey to obtain your drivers licence or to improve your confidence in driving. Perhaps you have areas of driving that you find more challenging or you have had a break and would like to get back on the road. Whatever your situation, I can help!
I have a real passion for driving and road craft. I understand that everyone has different ways of learning and I adapt my teaching to suit you as an individual. I am calm and reassuring so if you're feeling nervous about it - give it a try! I am fully DBS checked.
